$25 Trolley
Our most famous item is our $25 trolley and is a budget-friendly resource for families. This trolley is pre-packed by our team and the items change everyday. It’s a perfect way to keep your pantry stocked up with all the essentials like; fresh fruit and vegetables, fridge and frozen foods like milk, eggs, butter, yogurt, etc plus a box of dry food like bread, pasta, snacks, rice, sauce, drinks and more!
Home Delivery
With our online store we are able to provide all our discounted groceries and $25 trolleys directly to your door.
There are many families in our community who need access to cheap groceries but sadly, have no way to reach us, which is why we started home delivery. We are now able to reach over 3 million people across most of South East Queensland.
In the last 12 months we have delivered to more than 4,500 homes. Our team recently shared that they see their task of home delivery as a chance to speak with people and check in with families who are unable to leave their homes.
Discount Groceries
You can save up to 70% off the retail price of groceries through our stores at Loganholme, Hillcrest and our online store offering home delivery. We source food in bulk from suppliers right across Australia and overseas. This is how we are able to provide groceries at a heavily discounted prices for anyone to utilise. Another good thing about our stores is the fact that the more people who shop with us helps fund what we do, this means we are able to reach and help more people with free food. Someone shared with us recently that thanks to our discount groceries they are able to easily feed their family each week.
Not-For-Profit
Lighthouse is a not for profit grocery store committed to serving our community. By reinvesting all proceeds into initiatives like free food relief, discounted groceries, and emergency relief, our priority is to support local families and individuals in need. Every purchase made at our store helps us continue to provide essential services and resources to continue our mission ‘making lives better so that together we can make the world better’.
Reducing Food Waste
The team at Lighthouse Care are passionate about reducing food wastage as they have seen the positive impact this has had in their own lives. Food wastage has a direct effect on families’ finances and budgeting. As part of our resolute commitment to providing affordable groceries for families in need and promoting a sustainable future, you’ll find some items at Lighthouse Care that are past their “best before” dates. This practice minimizes waste and empowers our community to make conscientious choices.
Food Relief
We have thousands of families reach out each year asking for help to be able to feed their families, and with the rising cost of living continuing to increase the need is far greater than ever. We do our best to be able to provide help to these families with a free $25 trolley or some bags of dry pantry items.
Good Apparel
Our new ‘Good Apparel’ range is another way we provide this crucial support. By purchasing our new t-shirts for $25, you help fund our Free Trolley initiative, which delivers food to families in desperate situations. Every purchase is a lifeline for a family in need, and we are deeply grateful for your support.
Disaster Relief
When families find themselves in emergency situations whether it is natural disasters, domestic violence, social justice, refugee support and any other emergency situation we are able to take immediate action and step in with food hampers so families don’t go without food and groceries. We are able to do this by partnering with local police and government organizations across Brisbane who continue to refer people to us for help.

We’ve spent years building relationships with food suppliers and wholesalers across Australia and internationally to get the best deal possible so we can pass on the savings to the families who use our service.
