18 Week Paid Traineeship

We’re excited to offer eligible participants the opportunity to join our 18 week paid traineeship with the chance to obtain a Certificate 1 in Workplace Skills. Lighthouse Care is offering an 18-week full-time traineeship where you’ll get paid to learn, gain hands-on experience, and build a future you can be proud of.
Eligible participants have the opportunity to undertake a Certificate I in Workplace Skills (BSB10120), Designer Life-RTO32502. funded by the Queensland Government’s Skilling Queenslanders for Work, Work Skills Traineeship.
During your Traineeship, you will have the opportunity to try a wide range of tasks- Money handling/Cash register/ cleaning / stock presentation, receipt of goods, Storing and warehouse, cold store, Point of Sale, First Aid, Vocational training will be delivered as on-the-job training.

Eligibility Criteria
- Participants must be a QLD Resident.
- Aged 15 years or over and no longer at school.
- To be eligible you must also be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian Permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency.
Program Duration
The Traineeships are being offered on a Full-Time basis (38hrs per week) 7:30am to 3:30pm for a period of 18 weeks.
