2020 FUNDRAISER UPDATE:

Due to COVID-19 we have made the tough decision to postpone our 2020 fundraiser until further notice. We look forward to the time when we can all gather together again for a great cause.

This is an extremely difficult time for the thousands of families who rely on our service everyday. Together, with your help and support we will get through this season.

As you can imagine, being a non-profit organisation, we rely heavily on the donations that come in through our annual fundraiser to help families who need it most.

A Party Like No Other

Dear friends and colleagues, we would love to invite you to our annual fundraising event on Saturday, 26th June 2021. This year the theme is "The Great Gatsby". Your friends, family and colleagues will be delighted with a great night out, as we host you to a delicious 3 course dinner and a spectacular show.

There will be an auction and raffles on the night with lots of different prizes and items available for purchase. All proceeds raised will go towards providing food relief to families in need. Lighthouse Care currently supports over 500,000 individuals every year. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have seen a large increase of families seeking our assistance, we need your help now more than ever.

All proceeds of the event go directly to providing emergency food relief for families in need. Like never before, we see disparity in Australia, the once middle class is eroding under economic pressure with financial hardship, accidents, sickness, job loss or work cutbacks and housing prices that continue to rise, placing families in the position where they struggle to make ends meet. Many Australian families find themselves in places they never expected to be.

Rhydian And The Residuals

International Front man and comedian Rhydian Lewis, leads his Amazing Big Band “The Residuals”, to bring you one of the finest Tributes to this musical sensation. Rhydian and his band are fast becoming Australia’s answer to the likes of Michael Bublé and Frank Sinatra. With sold out shows a regular occurrence, be sure to check out this magical touring show.

Story of hope

We had a beautiful mum in desperate need of help, drive to our Loganholme location. Her & her husband had both been out of work for the past 4 months and they were in a difficult financial position.

We provided them with one of our $25 trolleys for no charge and they were on their way. 20 minutes later she returned in a police car as in her desperation to feed her family, she was forced to drive her unregistered car to us for assistance.

We drove the precious mum and her daughters home. We were also very humbled to be able to include the family in our annual Christmas initiative where they received them dinner and amazing gifts.
